Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.
– Psalm 119:105
– Psalm 119:105
It's Monday...that means a new post...except for this Monday. Instead of a post this morning I'm offering the gift of peace to you and to me.
I had a visit with a wonderful priest Friday and he told me I seemed weary and restless and he said I needed to read Psalm 23 and find some peace. Not quite the greeting I expected from a visiting priest at the beginning of my Confession, but I was drawn to tears because he was so spot on! He saw what I felt and was trying so hard to conceal. Oddly enough, the songs, and Psalm response at mass Sunday focused on those exact words. So...instead of a post today, I'm asking you to forgive me for my lack of words and lets all just take a few minutes to read Psalm 23 and enjoy some peace, knowing "There is nothing I shall want!" Blessings on your day!

What a great message for our community that values a work ethic and finds it difficult to take the time to rest. It is a great gift you are sharing by asking us to rest and find peace. Thank you.

Whenever you feel too busy or overwhelmed, just feel free to give us the homework. We can all learn a lot just reading a bible story. Thanks for all you do.

I will pray for you, Sheri, that our Mother, Mary will take your hand and lead you to the stream of peace that flows from her Son.
